Mission Statement

The Office of Student Life & Leadership at Stevenson University inspires students to become leaders.
We promote an overall sense of community by providing students with high-impact programs and opportunities. Our office extends learning outside the classroom by empowering and challenging students and by preparing them for life beyond Stevenson.

Vision Statement

The Office of Student Life & Leadership develops the whole student by creating exceptional experiences that influence personal growth while preparing them to be engaged and responsible citizens.

Kitchen Area

The Kitchen Area serves as a functional hub where student organizations and clubs can prepare, create, and manage their materials. The space includes convenient seating and a printer for quick tasks, along with specialized equipment such as a button maker and table cutter to support event prep and promotional work. A sink area, microwave, water fountain, and refrigerator in the back provide added convenience for students spending time in the space.
Club mailboxes are also located here for easy communication and organization, while the back area stores tri-fold boards and houses the popcorn machine, making this room both practical and supportive of student involvement.

Seating Area

The Seating Area is designed to support flexible learning, collaboration, and events. The space features two types of movable seating — blue tablet-arm chairs that are ideal for individual work or presentations, and black chairs paired with tables for group discussions and meetings.
Large whiteboards are available to support brainstorming, planning, and visual collaboration during group activities. This mix of seating and writable surfaces allows the room to easily adapt to different needs, from workshops and club gatherings to study sessions and casual collaboration, creating a dynamic and student-friendly environment.

Student Experience

The Center for Student Life and Leadership enhances the Stevenson experience by providing spaces and opportunities for students to get involved, build leadership skills, and form meaningful connections. Through clubs, events, and collaborative spaces, the center helps students grow personally and professionally while creating lasting campus memories.
